We are an international team (17 nationalities) of technologists, business consultants, engineers and architects with deep expertise in microservices, data scientists, UX designers and project managers. We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer (Java, Node.js) to create critical components of the digital technology solutions we provide for our clients. Our ideal candidates are familiar with the full software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work closely with a diverse set of colleagues and tasks, from consulting and business process design all the way through to the development of new, innovative features
  • Contribute to the development of our product 
  • Provide support in the development and improvement of the functionality, reliability and overall capabilities of large application networks for our customers
  • Write clean, testable code and help your colleagues to do so
  • Use your DevOps skills in improving our continuous delivery pipeline 

You fulfil the following minimum requirements:

  • 3+ years in back-end programming languages and frameworks
  • Skilled in design patterns, clean code, REST APIs, microservices architecture, relational databases
  • Advanced in using Java 8 SE up to the latest, with Spring Core, Spring Boot, Convention over configuration
  • Basic understanding of Domain Driven Design
  • Versatile in writing tests (using mock frameworks, TDD)
  • Basic knowledge and interest in CI/CD and DevOps
  • Proactive in identifying problems and opportunities
  • Ability to work in the EU

Ideally, you will also have the following:

  • Experience with Amazon AWS or other cloud service provider
  • Nice to have Node.js and TypeScript knowledge
